Arion is a gifted poet, so people keep giving him gifts. That gets him into trouble, though, when he is trapped on a ship with some greedy sailors. Saviour Pirotta tells the obscure myth of Arion with his usual verve, and Jan Lewis’ lively illustrations do the text justice. The text and images are paired really well in this book, so that the dialogue comes alive.
